About us

counter-strike-download.lt is a fan-run Counter-Strike 1.6 site maintained by members of the Lithuanian CS community since 2016. Our goal is simple: keep a clean, safe and working CS 1.6 client easy to find, at a time when many download sites bundle adware or modified game files.

The game client we distribute contains the original maps, models and sounds, ships with bots and a working server browser, and is protected against Slowhack. The same team also runs the cs-boost.lt game-server project, so the servers you find in the in-game browser stay alive and moderated.

Besides the downloadable client, we host a browser version of CS 1.6 you can play without installing anything, and landing pages in several languages for players around the world.
